To the #1 Dad!

Friday afternoon was spent at the Ledges State Park in Boone where we hiked and walked through the streams. It seemed that we have become this outdoor-sy family lately and Ethan & Kaika are up for any adventures as always. After working up some appetite, we headed to the Hickory Park Restaurant in Ames for dinner & dessert with Brian's parents.

Saturday morning, Brian spent some quality time with his dad on the golf course where they pretty much had the whole place to themselves. That was kinda cool! Later that night, the Boscaljons stopped into town to say hi and catch up. It was a fun weekend!

Side note: Ethan slept through the night both nights and didn't walk up the stairs in confusion (which he hasn't done at their house since moving out of the pack n' play). Sleep is always a blessing!
