River Roots Live

Spontaneous is our middle name. Ha, not really but we try to be whenever we can. Yesterday, we found out last minute that Gin Blossoms was going to be in town for a FREE concert but late. (I only know a few songs, but hey it's a big name band and did I mention it's free?) So what are we to do with no family in town or last minute sitter available? We put Ethan down for an hour nap, woke him up and then left. Poor guy, he was so confused when he got up. He thought it was already morning but wondered why it was dark out. Brian had to sit him down and explain. Once he woke up a little bit more and things started to make sense, he was pretty excited to go somewhere fun (and at night). I guess this is only the second time we've ever done something like this. The other time was Christmas Eve service in '09 and he was pretty confused then too. Anyway, the evening was beautiful, the concert was great and Ethan was jamming to it the whole time. We came home at midnight and crashed and then got to sleep in too! Yeah, you could say we're party animals ;0)
