Dry Run #2
Today felt a lot more productive as the Welcome Team figured out who's doing what, when and where. The actual walk through the school definitely helped everyone understand the service order and their responsibilities. Go Brian! Anyway, everything is coming together and I'm getting really excited! One cool thing that happened today was a couple in their 20's showed up thinking today was the Launch Sunday. We told them that was great and to come back next week =0) So that was encouraging.
Update from last week regarding George Mason U: we passed out a ton of post cards and got a lot of positive reception from the students. It's funny to see their hesitations at first and for some reason once we told them that it's a church, they looked almost relief. Ethan was super helpful in getting those out. And of course who could say no to a cute little kid. We found out that Campus Crusade is helping to promote us so hopefully we'll have a good turn out from that.
