- I never ever thought God would call us to do something like this. Not us. Maybe someone else that are more "qualified." But nope, it was us and there was no, "Well, let's try it out and see. If it doesn't work out, we'll just not do as much." I mean we had to be all in whether we felt like it or not (on certain Sundays). It definitely stretched us more than we wanted to but because of it we learned what serving is truly all about: serving the One & Only and not to feel good about myself or get a pat on the back from others.
- It also strengthened our marriage because it is no doubt a team work. In order for Brian to be able to physically and effectively serve the church 100%, I have to be willing to serve by caring for the family. That took a while to get use to as I've had a strong desire to serve alongside Brian, but that wasn't something God want of me at this point.
- God has been so faithful in building this church and providing exactly when/where it was needed.
- As Ethan was mentioned as the first child that gave his life to Christ through the Children Discipleship, we were beaming with pride.
