Garbage Day

Garbage day is today and since our arrival, we were told by numerous people that you can leave anything at the curb and they really mean ANYTHING. I guess in a way, it's great in case you don't have the means to haul big stuff somewhere else. However, it seemed so much more wasteful. Instead of reusing or reselling, they just throw it out at the front of the house. Definitely less strict here than what we're used to. Anyway, four different trucks came by our neighborhood this morning: #1 for garbage and bulky items, #2 for yard waste, #3 for recycling, #4 for leaves. I was quite impressed with their system.
